The Rino 520 is a rugged, two-way radio with GPS. Similar to the Rino 530, it has a bold colour display, and turn-by-turn directions. The Canadian version has a communication range of up to 8 miles. As with other members of the Rino family, the 520’s patented location-reporting feature allows you to send and receive GPS positions with other Rino users in your group. One call to your partner's Rino, and your location shows up on the map page. This also enables one Rino to poll another Rino's location in emergency situations. Fast USB computer connection and 56 megabytes (MB) of internal memory for rapid download and extra map storage.
Rechargeable lithium-ion battery provides up to 16 hours of outdoor use.
